Description
Over many years (vineyard established 1977), I have come to recognise, and indeed marvel at the unique soils and the maritime climate of my region, Maslin Beach (McLaren Vale GI), especially the cooling effects from the nearby Gulf of St Vincent, on wine grape quality and flavours.
The Sangiovese captures the essence of a varietal red wine, elegant medium bodies, with a fresh berry palate and a seductively supple texture.
A versatile, easy drinking wine, that can be enjoyed with pasta dishes, and also moderate red meat dishes.
